Most non-magnum Remington 1100s in 12 gauge will function fine on any "normal" 2-3/4" load. Once you get below 1 ounce there is a possibility a gun may not like it. Most 7/8 ounce loads seem to do okay in my opinion, but 3/4 ouncers may have problems in field guns.
