1 Answer. I have a 2008 Pontiac G6 2.4L. the engine light and the traction light came on, with the message of service traction control. I have replaced the spark plugs and the #2 coil as was told by the diagnostics check. I have also cleaned the connections to the bcm an the ecm. the lights are still on and it also shifts hard when put into drive.I have a 2008 Pontiac G6 the traction light comes on & goes off as I am driving. I notice when it does my car jerks as it is changing .. my car also seems to want to stahl out at times while at a red light or parked after this happens while I drive.
