You can vote for yourself (I believe that the game automatically sets your vote for you in case you win the war).None of those times was I the person in control of either league, so what it turned into was me dominating all of Europe, kicking everyone's ass, carrying the League War with 60+% contribution, simultaneously 100% WS'ing multiple war participants while liberating the small allies, and the whole time wondering when the AI was going to peace out ...

For the record, the empire being in a state of religious war means the emperor still has to be Catholic. I lost emperorship as soon as I converted. Jan 10, 2021 · We were winning with 95% warscore. The war was over, we sieged down all of the HRE princes and all forts of the commonwealth. They had almost no troops left. It was 1594. A couple more province to siege from the commonwealth and a couple month of ticking war score and we will have 100% warscore ensuring any demand.The event has not happened yet. I think you just have to wait for the reform desire to reach 100%. There's an event where you can choose a side. Then the war leader on the protestant side ( the one with the biggest army) can declare war on the emperor using the league war casus belli. You have to wait.This makes it so you can win the league war right away and the Catholic league won't have a chance to get many supporters. It simplifies the whole war greatly. You will still have to fight Austria's allies of course but especially as like Prussia or Poland or France this isn't typically a big issue. ….
