Not sure if it's a glitch but that's what happens. If you stuff your inventory with umbrals and other stuff then do a legend lost sector solo, the exotic is pushed to the postmaster and will decrypt into whatever the MASTER lost sector is rewarding that day. This is actually a great way to farm for pieces that you don't have.Master lost sectors should drop mats or something but legend lost sectors are probably fine. A few of them like veles or aphelion can be done in like 2 mins. But on legend it can take easily 10-20 clears to get a drop. It took me 23 clears to get RDMs for example.
