For 223 and 300 Blackout builds we use Stag and JP EnhancedBolts. Buy the SIG and soon you are likely to be left with an unsupported platform when they decide to move on to something else they think they can sell quickly. LWRC's are Solid rifles. I've had 3 and still have 2 of the DI guns.Anytime there is a best of AR-10 and LMT isn't the top 1 or 2 then I don't buy it. Few years ago I had both a LWRC R.E.P.R. and LMT 308 MWS. Now I just have the LMT. As good as the reaper is it just was not as good as the LMT. Both dead nuts accurate, both hit 1000 yd steel, it was just easier to do with the LMT.

jdgilbert. The early 6.8 bolts were 5.56 bolts with the face opened up, however this reduces the thickness of the lugs and web between the lugs and led to some early failures. As far as I know all the new 6.8 bolts are purpose-built for the 6.8 but my only personal experience has been with the ARP 6.8 bolts.It worked fine and it gave the desired effect. It's on the left side (don't have a better pic than that available). I have one on my dedicated .22lr Ar15 as well. Regarding piston vs DI - if you shoot suppressed, or plan to, then piston is the way to go IMHO. Much cleaner and you can shoot much longer without problems.

The LWRC aren't super light, at about 7 pounds, but they feel great and are very durable HK MR556 is a good option, but again, a bit heavy and big clunky quad rails. ... Another LMT owner here. Shoots exceptionally well with both 16" and 12" barrels.I can say the DD upper on LMT lower is a good fit, nice and tight, better than some matching uppers and lowers, no experience with the Mars but a defender 2000 lower with DD lpk with ambi safety. LWRC makes a fantastic ambi lower. for that set up I'd go with DD complete. LMT ambis are nice!
alpha equipt I have a dealer up here that has a new DEA LWRC in the tan color for $2150 OTD. The LMT piston gun is about $1900 OTD. The LMT regular gun is around $1500 OTD. Those are the 3 guns i'm trying to choose between. I think I have narrowed it down to 2 the LWRC DEA and the LMT regular gun.
