In Super Stock the most desired casting is the -041 and -291 depending on lass and HP. The -291 in my opinion is very close to the 461/462 heads, Just the guys that port the SS heads say the casting is better with the -291 heads and -041's.Do any of the aftermarket head manufacturers produce a Chevy head without accessory holes or the flat machined pads on the ends?
