N64 core retroarch

I'm facing this exact problem on my device, I sideloaded retroarch, copied the roms, went directly to the N64 ones to see how it performs and it crashed instantly, didn't change any settings and now I'm giving up on N64 emulation..

In any case I already deleted the config folder earlier and it didn't work. I even deleted any file under the Retroarch folder and its subfolders with 'mupen64plus-next' in the title, and it's still the same thing, 8x upscaling.
