It's not as comprehensive as SFO, but it adds more variety of trees and places more trees in various location throughout the game. Using more than one tree replacer mod will cause the LODs to break. Skyrim Flora Overhaul handles plants and trees, Happy Little Aspens also handles trees. Also yes, Whiterun Forest Borealis does not have LODs unfortunately. So the area outside Whiterun with that mod will always load in as you approach, even if you fix your LO.Which is probably what makes SFO work with Seasons of Skyrim so well. BUT I tried TotS with several other flora mods and it only looked this good when being used with Vurts SFO. So maybe it doesn't even need .ini tweaks :P.
