If the lever is fully forward and the PTO slips, there is either a low oil pressure issue or the PTO clutch has internal issues. The foot clutch could be slipping and if that is the case standing hard on the brakes would make the tractor stop moving, which would then tell you it isn't the PTO clutch, it's the foot clutch. tbran.Feb 15, 2016 at 9:20am. kds55farmer: Hello everyone! It's not too critical which oil to put in your hydraulic system. In an older unit I'd prefer Hydraulic 68 myself but 46 or 32 would work as well. The lower the number the thinner the oil is. If the pump is somewhat worn and seals in the hyd. cylinders are starting to get tired, Hyd. 68 is your better choice. You can also use 10W 30 engine oil too.We had a number of 190XT III's and 200's that had this problem. AC blamed it on the PTO gears kicking the oil around in the lift arm housing, which made sense. The fix AC came up with at the time was to remove the lift arm housing, remove the shaft and bore each end of the housing out to accept a spring loaded lip seal.

If it charges, investigate the F wire from the generator to the regulator. From there pull the belt off the generator and disconnect the wire on the F terminal at the generator.Report Post.
